Default Lord of the Pies

no, not pure or anderson but a rather decent little pastry and mash emporium in the hillgate area of stockers not far from richer sounds/superfi. stumbled across it today. worth a visit, only if you are unfortunately caught in the area, of course

you been there bunks?

no m&p but they did steak and blacksticks blue. red cabbage, mash, gravy, peas as sides.

of the top of my head they did the one above, smoked ham and chicken, cheese and onion and lamb one. we had 3/4 and they were all stacked with meat. cheese and onion is for w****rs, imo.

wish i'd grabbed one of the confit pork and bury black pudding pork pies on the way out.

Agreed - meat free pies are totally pointless. I mean savoury, obviously

their Stockport Pie is f***ing lovely. Even got a bit of Old Tom in it too
