Salvation Army do. Only charity I will actually give anything to, even sent me a (very cheap gladly don't want my donations wasted) little calendar as thanks for my Xmas donation

Cheers Mr Z, just had a look at their website, and I'll bear them in mind for perhaps some of my own stuff.

I've spoken to Wellspring. They do indeed get stuff straight to the homeless.. as a result, it's socks, pullovers, hats, scarves, grundies that they're after.. not really that bothered about lightweight summer shirts, cravats and gentleman's slacks !

The other charity I was trying to remember was Cornerstone.

good.

Call me cynical, but I'm not leaving all my Dad's stuff outside one of the numerous bleedin' charity shops on the high street, only for them to either snootily pick over it, or flog it on... and all the time the charity gets a few percent if they're lucky.

why dont you just take a bin bag of clothes out on the street and find homeless people to give them to, give them a complete makeover, style them how you want
