A lot more excited by this than when we appointed Hodgson

Bit shit, especially considering Rafa's sat on his arse doing nothing. Paying 5m compensation for the privilege aswell seems stupid. Let's hope he can get us playing like Swansea did.

Shootcrew taking some serious flak from the Doomsayers today. They've taken the Hazard news and the prospect of signing a good player like Kagawa really badly. Windmilling like £#%&!!

Surely if they want a 0-0 at Anfield, they should just keep Kenny.

How detestable is this @#%&!? Hodgson's appointment, despite the comedy factor was a very stressful time for me as he was a pretty harmless sort.

He'll only last one season, just like he did as Dr Who (because he looks like Christopher Eccleston doesn't he?)

RAWK have released a statement

We at RAWK have always firmly believed that one of the strengths of being a Liverpool supporter is that we support the manager. We welcome him to our club and sincerely hope he understands the culture and history and requirements of one being manager at Liverpool Football Club, one of the major jobs in the world of football.

There may be some fans on here who did not wish for his appointment, perhaps preferring any number of other candidates. Let us make one thing clear: We support our manager. Full stop. If any of you are unable to do that, you will find yourselves looking for another fansite to post on. Liverpool supporters are meant to do things the right way and make no mistake, we will remove persistent whingers, moaners, nostalgists and petty posters from this site without a second thought.

Welcome Brendan, you've a bloody big pair of boots to fill. Good luck and welcome and all the best from us at RAWK

Deluded beyond belief. In short, don't say anything bad about him and just agree and support. Well, that makes for healthy discussion.

It's so contradictory too. They talk about patience and loyalty...but only after they submit their own set of rules and standards beforehand. We're loyal....if you tell us what we want to hear and do things as we see it.

ie say all the right things and pretend we're special. Hodgson never did that, so they were able to fob off their lack of patience by saying that he never 'got it' from the get-go.

1. Quote from Rodgers and Hammerstein

2. Bang on about the "Liverpool way" and class & dignity

3. Have a few pops at Fergie

4. Hint at dark forces at work in the Suarez racism case but don't elaborate

5. Hint at dark forces at work concerning ref's decisions

6. Bang on about what fair-minded and knowledgeable fans they are

Will soon get the tin foil hat-wearing mentalists on side.

Easy this PR lark.
