Dunno if Gibson does, unless you mean to sell him? It's pretty clear that he's nowhere near the first team.

they might as well just electrocute Eikrem's bollox.

'you've done great, kid, but once again we can't start you in tonight's game. instead we're gonna electrocute your bollox'.

You wouldn't start him against Chelsea but you might start him against a different team in order to give another player a rest.

That said I hope we do blood a youngster or 2, but I can see the logic of ensuring all squad players have minutes under their belt

I think we may have been here before

Edit: I heard a rumour while I was away that Hargreaves may make an appearance this evening, any chance?
Yeah actually, more important that players in and around the first team squad get games tbf. Just that I'd love to see Cofie barging and charging in to 'established' defenders when they were expecting a relatively easy ride, really like that lad, he's a big bully and he's rapid and knows where the net is. Refreshing to have players in the youth set up that aren't fly weight midgets as seemed the case for a fair few years, that balance of physicality and technical skill is so important nowadays if they want to make the step up. That's what gives me hope of some of this lot actually making it as it seems that's the only way you can hope for any loyalty off players unless they're Scouse of course.

I do not rate Gibson for the record.

He's been kept out of the midfield by O' Shea.

Brady and the one and only Ravel Morrison have been given squad numbers today, numbers 37 and 49.

I'm going to post a team with the usual caveats about how this will usually destroy everything good and pure...

Amos

Pre-Raphelite - Small Gin - Evans - Pre-Fabioelite

Gibson - Anderson - Park

Brady Bebe
