technical outdoor gear?

If there is anything you want to know about water repellancy of tents or how to use a Trangia stove properly just ask. Speciality of mine, the outdoors.

I'm after a decent standupable in tent, it's for moi and TPMM, but want space for stuff, and sitting room for reading/relaxing whilst it pisses down.

a) must be easy to erect....oo er
b) let in plenty of light.

Dya know waht I mean/want?

Halfords website old fruit. Loads of cheap gear that pop up PNAARGH in minutes.

Love a stroll me - done the Three Peaks in 24 hours lark, walked Hadrians Wall.

Just trying to plan a walk round the Isle of Wight to help me get me eye in for the Coast to Coast (12 days) in Spring 2011.

Yep - love a bit of walking in the summer myself. Have regular meet ups with friends to go different places. Very underrated - and very enjoyable. Find a bit of music helps as well.

Outwell, Vango or Vaude tents my old china.

Vango are more your family tents, Vaude are trek tents, v good.

Although, if its family camping you want, id go with these:

Tbh I've never stayed over, a mate of mine comes from Betws-y-Coed, which isn't far from Snowdon, nice little village with a pub or two, he keeps saying we should stay over but never got round to it.
I used to always do the lakes but fancied trying some proper man climbing, by all accounts Tryfan is a decent climb.

I'll upload some pics if I get chance see what you think.
