Giggs is still the plan
Taken from a post on Reddit -
Ian Herbert (hes currently working under Ogden for The Independent) was on 5Live earlier discussing the Times article that Northcroft wrote last night. He agreed with the article but added some points that I thought were pretty interesting. I listening to it 3 hours ago so Im going off memory

It might work with Giggs taking over from LVG, but it might not, only time will tell if this is the clubs plan. Prefer Mourhino, but the clubs dithering has lost the chance of getting him IMO and chances are we will regret it. To be the best you need the best players and managers, which Mourhino is the best. Giggs will give everything and more to get us to succeed, but will it be enough?

I do actually think City's squad needs major work to become Pep friendly tbh. Don't think it's anywhere near as good a fit for him as ours. |
