Double edged sword, this. If they do well and reach the final we won't have van Gaal until the third week of July which basically means we are doomed until the winter. If they get knocked out in the group stages, we'll have a deflated van Gaal with low morale. Best option is to get knocked out by Brazil in a glorious defeat aided by the referee sending three Dutch players off and giving 5 penalties in the round of 16.
