West Ham are tin pot.

£105m for Rice and they’ll bid less than £30m for McTom.

I’d keep him. He’ll be a useful squad player and isn’t on as ridiculous wages as some.

If Elanga is 15. McT should be 40 minimum.

Yep, at least.

I'd keep him if he's happy with the bench/League cup games. Not the best player by a margin, but not horrid either.

I like Mctommers but I don’t think we’re in a position to keep hold players that could fetch us a decent wedge just for them to sit in the bench tbh.

If an off of 30-40m comes in then we’d be stupid not to accept imo. The younger lads could cover his minutes and that’s a decent fee to go towards a striker.

Along with shifting Fred and perhaps then we’ll sign that Moroccan fella?

The contrast between him and Fred hiding and Mainoo always being available for the ball is stark.

I might be in the minority, but it would be a shame if he left. Academy product who does actually have some qualities. Loves the club. But as others have said, we can’t afford to keep him if a good offer comes in.

Don’t want him going for peanuts though. He’s a good player with plenty of exeprience entering his peak years. When you see some of the crazy fees, we’re entitled to want 30m plus:

Would keep him around the club for his singing voice alone.

Can’t stand him. Proper coward masquerading as a hardman.

This HAS to be the end of both Fred and The Scottish Player if we're really getting Amrabat. If either of them are still lurking about by the end of the window there'll be 6 midfielders ahead of them going into the new season. 45/50m for the pair would be a decent return imo.

I like him. He and Fred were always something of a makeshift midfield - it was a £#%&!ing absurdity that we embarked on a third season with them as our first choice midfield, and unfair on both players. That he was not up to the job of running our midfield with Fred as his partner does not mean he is a bad player.

I haven't noticed his cowardice in hiding for the ball myself, but I take the forum's word on it. He wasn't the only player to go through something of a crisis when it all fell apart. I actually think he has a good character, which he has shown plenty of times in the past (nothing cowardly about his EL Final performance, for example, and there was cowardice all around that night). He deserves a second chance, IMO, and can be a useful squad player.

Ward-Prowse isn't in the Soton squad for their game this evening so that part checks out.

Gallagher is never a £40m player, regardless of how well he did at Palace he was absolutely anonymous the last season whenever he played. Chelsea would be insane to turn that down with their FFP requirements & better players available. They also badly need a striker, unless they're inexplicably welcoming Lukaku back

Let's be honest - The Scottish Player is £#%&!ing rubbish. A proper rubbish fanny of a footballer. If we can sell him and get an actual good player in his place, it's a no-brainer.

Hard to hate the guy (that city goal pre COVID)

But that ole mfred partnership put us back years, as better players were left out because we beat PSG...

Also seems a massive snide in training vids ..

he's not a starter anymore, go if you want pal....
