God damn. Two stories that aren't stories making the front page.

It's a poor reflection on society that scum papers like this are in wide circulation.

Let's hope Evans is found guilty and gets a seven match ban. That would rule him out for the majority of the season and we won't have to put up with his cowardly defending anymore.

Weirdly we have a better record with him playing this season.

Had a decent game at Newcastle too. :shakehead:

Is it me or did he look slightly terrified when Cisse got up?

Jonathan Walters on spitting:

Quote:
As a player you take anything off the ball; pinches and kicks that are meant to wind you up,' Walters told talkSPORT. 'Little things like that go on in any match.
'But spitting is pretty low. If it happened to me and someone spat at my face or towards me then I think he'd be eating his supper through a straw that night.
Hard bastard.

Five years ago the Currant Bun sold over 3 million copies - its under 2 million now.

Slowly but surely the press here are losing their power - they know this, and absolutely £#%&!ing hate it

Evans denies his charge and will have FA hearing tonight. Result will be announced tomorrow.

Hope FA increases his ban on the basis of frivolous appeal.

Yeah we all hate Evans, but he is quite right if we are being totally fair.

No un-nobbled jury would ever convict on the "evidence" against him, nqat.

As United have found this season, the solution doesn't always lie in an expensive acquisition. And would any replacement be able to sing "Sweet Caroline" on karaoke in the voice of fellow Belfast man Van Morrison like Evans does? Would they be able to answer the riddle 'What word becomes shorter when you add two letters to it?'* as Evans did?

I can´t be arsed going through each post. Here´s my view (observation) watching the game and the subsequent takes post match.

Evans simply gobbed it - he spit on the grass and not at his opponent. Will he get away with it? Doubtful.

Not an Evans fan here - but hey - not guilty.
