Maybe give it more than 9 league games for him to turn a poor side round.

This. Along with not picking shit teams and having our attacking 'wingers' playing as fullbacks.

Very true.

Just wish there was something to get excited about. It's obviously early days but it'd be nice to have something to cling on to.

Trouble with this is that the geniuses on here were constantly telling us how obvious the problems were under LVG. Any idiot could sort it out apparently.

Fast forward a year and there's very little difference, and Fellaini and Young are still key players

Could have said Stoke, Bournemouth, Middlesbrough etc

It was your choice to pick a side that aren't even in the premier league

Not asking if it's been turned around. Asking what's better. Where's the improvement? Are we playing better football? Less fragile? Dealing with pressure better? Dominating games a little bit more? Scoring more freely? More entertaining? Any players markedly improved? How are we better off having changed manager?

After the best part of three months it's perfectly fine to be asking these questions.

it's his demeanour that worries me the most. i thought we'd see him put rockets up a few arses, create a siege mentality and generally make everyone hate us again, but he doesn't seem to have it in him.

he's like the yorkshire ripper without his claw hammer.

The touchline standing has improved beyond all measure. I'm clinging onto that as a ray of light in this dark autumn.

Trying too hard to placate that miserable bastard Bobby Charlton. Let a player play.

At least it feels like teams stop us winning now vs us just shooting ourselves in the foot for 90 minutes. We at least have shots and try to penetrate now. We used to average one shit shot off target every 120 minutes or something insane.
