£30k a week to play for the stiffs, no pressure whatsoever and you get to say you play for Man Utd.

Its embarrassing when your manager talks about how fantastic Joel Pereira is, how he's made it hard not to play him and the club have just given him a new contract. To then turn round and effectively tell the lad that 'most promising keeper seen in years' etc was all lies and he now has to sit behind some no-mark journeyman. Doesn't look great.

I don't know much about Joel Pereira, but for a club that supposedly develops youth, on the face of it that is embarrassing.

??? new to being 3rd choice behind a very good number 2 and arguably the best keeper in he world at present pal?
Courtouis (?) did it when behind Cech at Chelsea

how ... joel will get more from a full season at a club how many other teams have a 21 year old as no1 ... ill wait
