So does Rooney. Why put him in? I know you hate people typing words on the forum, but I'm sure you can stretch to another six characters.

I bought Shoot Crew magazine this week. Was shocked by its content. Had to go all the way to Canal Street to get it too.

More protection of the defence imo.

Return, stop trying to bully me off these threads please, I just want to talk about the football. What's the big deal?

Who you playing left? Rooney?

If Clevers was playing and we go 4-3-3 I'd definitely play Young, those two and Rooney linked up superbly earlier in the season.

But potentially less width

unless you play absorbing flick backs with zonal sweepstakes obv.

.......Carrick
Cleverly Anderson
Nani Wellers Rooney

Would like the front three interchanging, rooney ronaldo tevez style.

Fair enough, I'd rather Young on the left with Rooney central, you'd have the same interchangeability but with players in more natural positions. Could see Rooney getting very frustrated playing left against these. Be happy with that midfield, well as happy as possible given the limitations of our sqaud currently.

I'd go with Rio ahead of Vidic too if it was a choice.
