Injury looked more like a concussion from what I saw. Any news?

Saw another picture from a new angle of his leg break recently, and the story about him nearly losing his leg seems understandable.

The fact he's recovered from such an injury, to return as a top-level professional athlete for his country and the world's biggest club is miraculous.

The stick he's got from certain sections of our fanbase has been disgraceful.

Good news for him is that we can now take a leaf out of Liverpool’s book and attribute every mistake he makes for the next 5 years to being concussed.

Why do players who know him personally wish him well on Twitter rather than just text him?

Well that warrants a new £150k+ 2/3 year deal then - our best player in our worst start to a season for 50 years (or whatever)
