An obsessed Manchester United fan fell so deeply in love with footballer Adnan Januzaj that she thought he was her boyfriend, tried to kill herself and called off her own wedding.

Mai Alexander, 24, of Wakefield, West Yorkshire, developed a crush on the Belgian player three years ago after watching his debut match and quickly became infatuated with him.
