Barcelona 0-0 Levante after 20 minutes. Villa missed a penalty which looked harsh. Barca haven't looked totally at it yet. Abidal's starting which is nice to see.

totally lost interest in la liga since it became so utterly devoid of competition. sad really as there's some great football being played but it gets tedious watching barcelona cruise to another piss easy win every week over some club who probably can barely afford to pay the bill for the floodlights.

I watch it out of habit at this stage, given Barca have won the league. They're going through the motions at the moment.

Valencia/Malaga later, not as good as it promised to be given Malaga have completely given up because they can't play in Europe next season, and they've accepted they're going to have to sell players.

Stockport relegated to regional football

Barcelona sneak by, 1-0. Took them 80 minutes to realise that winning would bring them closer to wrapping up the Title and turned on the power. Fabregas scored in the 83rd minute. Barca did deserve to win, but almost by default as Levante offered nothing. They can win without Messi (in these types of games) but they look very lackluster.

I have memories of going to a Stockport match once. It was for a birthday present.

Basically my Grandad got tickets for a football match through his work. There was me thinking it was for United (think they were playing Leeds on the Sunday) , but it was for Stockport vs Portsmouth. Can't remember what league they were both in then but it would have been around November 1998. I think Stockport won 2-0.

The funniest part was this old couple in front of me getting this packed lunch out at half time, sandwiches, cake, flasks of tea, the works.

Giroud's was fair too, he did go over the top of the ball, not as bad as Sidwell's, but deserving of a red.
