According to the Times, expected to show interest in the summer.

Would be interesting if true. He'll be headed for 28 years old, if they put £50-60m on the table, could at least provoke some consideration.

£50m? £#%&!ing hell I'd be happy taking £40m for him.

Thought he had a good game Saturday when he came on but for me we'd have to consider it very seriously if true.

If Rooney going can bring in Wilshere and Bale, I don't mind.

But sadly, RVP has maybe 2 more top years after this. Welbeck might be an english Giroud for all we know, and I smell Chicha is ready to £#%&! off to Real Madrid anytime.

Wilshire AND Bale? Would cost £100m plus in today's market.

FFS!

He won't get any better than he is now. He's 27 and can anyone honestly see him still being fit and capable at the top level into his 30's?? I'd snatch their gullible @#%&! hands off for anything over £40m if it went back into the transfer market (big £#%&!ing if)

He's hardly been fit for the last two years, seems like he's always picking up knocks these days & then it takes him a couple of games to get back into the groove.

I'd snap their hands off personally, for me the magic has gone with Rooney.

Would be nice, but Bale would be an improvement to an attack which is already strong. Wilshere would potentially solve a long overdue issue in the side for the next ten years. Plus, he could be easier to get. The Spanish sides won't bid silly money for Wilshere right now.
