It's probably the right thing to do from his point of view but it'll be weird for the players to have a manager & coaching staff who have no experience whatsoever of Title races or European Football.
Not quite sure how that'll work tbh
Hopefully it will make them more focused and driven. Inject a bit of £#%&!ing hunger back into the place.

There's no guarantees at all in football, but you didn't honestly think that moyes was going to come in and work with all Fergie's backroom staff did you?

The whole place has had a real 'comfy' feel to it. Trotting through the season in 3rd gear, spending the last month getting beat at home by chelsea, City and letting in 5 goals against west brom....the place needs to refocus as it's obvious some players are far too 'comfy'.

Can't wait for Moyes to get in that dressing room and strip the £#%&!ing paint off the walls. Scare that £#%&!ing poofter Cleverley, that fat shit anderson and tell that £#%&! @#%&! valencia to pack his backs if he doesn't buck his ideas up.

Can't disagree with any of that tbf ...good points well made.

I just wouldn't be too confident if we had a tricky Champions League group to navigate with Everton's coaching staff at the helm.
I suppose we're all gonna have to get used to it.

Nothing to add to that

Edit: except that...talking to an Everton fan today and he said he'd very much like Steele if we want Woods. All the keepers he's coached there flap like £#%&! at crosses, rather like Woods did as a player. JSL

Likewise, in getting rid of the coaching staff. People are complaining that we've been doing well all along, why do we need to change! Well it allows Moyes to exert more influence without clearing out the squad in a radical fashion. He needs to be able to trust his staff and how can he guarantee that from Ferguson's staff. Renee is clearly a well regarded coach, but a fresh voice for the players will be a good thing too!

Also reckon some players will appreciate a clean slate.

Looking at Nani here.

All true. Be nice to have a few with experience of being involved with United throughout a season near the manager though.

Makes it even more crucial that we have the likes of Rio and Giggs still there. Get Scholes on the staff too. Players could come back and find almost an almost entirely new staff there.

If we're investing in Moyes, then we must trust his decisions. We can judge players on the pitch, but when it comes to coaches, none of us have any idea how influential any of them are. There's nobody on the staff that I'm particularly arsed about staying or going and I can't really see why anyone of us would be worried or concerned when we dont know what they do.

Moyes knows what he wants, seems like a thorough guy so I trust him to do things his own way.

One of the reasons people were giving for moyes appointment was that he won't hire a completely new backroom staff unlike mourinho.

anyways,

The MUFC Academy ‏@mrmujac 2h
Put your money on Chris Woods joining #mufc as goalkeeping coach...heard from three different sources now!

Really? Mourinho shouldn't be anywhere near United because he is a massive disgraceful @#%&!. All assume his return to Chelsea will be plain sailing, I wouldn't bet on it.

His actions in Spain the past 6 weeks have been nothing short of disgraceful, doing enough to get a clean break from Madrid without any need for his new employer to pay compensation.

In addition, can you see Woodward handling Mourinho? It would have been a tough ask for Gill given the @#%&!'s ability to be a massive £#%&!ing @#%&!.

Does anyone genuinely give a £#%&! about phelan meulensteen and steele(lindegaard ffs)?

We were mocking the shit out of them just a year ago. if anyone thinks mou didnt get the job at united due to him bringing too many coaching staff then you're braindead.

But now the trend is to seriously big up these clowns who never dared to say shit to fergie, its time for fresh ideas and a new chapter for some of the undermined players in the squad(nani and ando in particular).

People will moan about ANYTHING.
