That Boy Ronaldo!

Default Draxler

Partytown on RI reckons he's one we are looking at.

Has a decent record with transfers doesn't he?

£38 million buy out clause isn't it, which means stumping up the cash upfront, which means its off

Think they may have to do it here, no excuse not to with the nike and chevrolet money ALONE bringing in £110m+ per year as of next season.

£38m for him is market value, potentially a bargain if he fulfils his potential considering Ozil went for 5m more and is 5 yrs older.

If United take advantage of having much bigger sponsorship deals than everyone else now and bring in a couple of young future world beaters to be the next ronaldo and rooney to carry us it will make the glazers their money back and then some.

No it doesn't, just ask Woowar and Moyes. It means negotiating them down because it's too much. And still ending up with no player. :shakehead:

I hope he stays at Schalke. No way we'll sign him. He's a fantastic player, It'd sicken me to see him play for chewsea or shitty.

There is literally no more excuse anymore given we have tripled the nike deal and almost tripled the aon deal. To put the nike deal in perspective, madrid signed a deal with adidas again recently, for £31m to last a year longer (2020) than our deal with nike that is worth twice as much.

They're the ones blowing £140m on Bale and Illaramendi like it aint no thang though, while we couldnt even find £23m in july to pay upfront for fellaini. not that spending that much on players who barely improve is a thing to brag about.

Maybe we can demand mata and cash now. Only way chelsea can have him, or they wait till 2015 when hes 30, fatter and finished.
Straight swap, imo - why £#%&! about for a few million

We can't let Rooney go. Third most famous player in the world, great marketing tool for united.

Class act, 38m Euros is £32m give or take. Football is in a different world to what we all grew up with. It's now market rate, it's taking Utd a long time to work this out (or just a reluctance more like...).
