I'm assuming it's based on the players available for selection this weekend.

Why though? What is the point of that? Why exclude unavailable players from a fantasy combined team that has no bearing on anything? Its madness!

Because Jamie Jackson loves this sort of thread and could rely on you?

De Gea, tbf.

Probably the only player across both squads who is the best in the world in his position.

OK maybe stones isn't the most stupid thing in that team. £#%&!ing Kolarov in central defence though

not sure a single city player would make the XI would they? i'll try ...

dave in goal.

rashford thru, zlatan off so no need for aguero.

blind obviously, and bailly is the man on form - suppose we could go to a 3 to get stones in...

valencia and shaw wide...

pogba of course - maybe stick fernandinho or fernando (never remember which one's the shitc*** tbh) next to him...

just leaves a midfield spot - silva? carrick? mhiki?

Football journalism in this country by and large is absolute garbage

I don't doubt that Jamie Jackson was probably asked to do that combined 11 nonsense, but the need to throw a spanner in the works by not including either Blind or Bailey is straight out of a 'clickbait for dummies' book -

Its' odd too because its not as if journo's dont have enough material to hype up the match, it's Mourinho and Pep, its United vs City ffs, there's plenty of stuff they can work with there; it just smacks of laziness to me

But hey, judging by the comments all over the web it's served its purpose and boosted Jamie's profile, which i'm sure he's chuffed about

edit; he's also put Rashford ahead of Sterling WUM of epic proportions, bravo

don't really know who jackson is tbh - suppose he must be one of those timid mongs you see asking try-hard leading questions for the echo chambers at the pressers? anyway...

pretty sure these combined team thingies are nothing to get too vexed about. this kong has hardly invented the idea for click bait tronics
