Well it was dull as £#%&! with Zlat and Pogba in the team all last season, so don't see why we can expect any massive improvement just because they're back.

Half the issue is the over reliance on individuals to provide moments to get us through games as opposed to having a progressive and cohesive style of attacking play that can be played in much the same fashion regardless of personnel. That goes back all the way to Fergie's last 2 years too..

Yep.

It's very much based on being solid and providing a platform for Mickey, Rashforrd/Martial to just do something.

And when that doesn't work, bring Fellaini on and launch it.

I think with Pogba and big Zlat back we will see our performances improve. It won’t be the swashbuckling footy we had under Fergie, but the first few games of the season were far more entertaining than recent games. I prefer us, how we are winning stuff, than say watching a far more exciting team like Spurs, who win nothing.

Pogba will certainly improve us. Not only by what he brings, but he lifts those around him. He's infectious. His absence couldn't have come at a worst time in terms of fixtures.

It's alarming just how inadequate the performances have been without him.

This is a pivotal moment for Mourinho. We’re still second, but something is clearly wrong and the trend is totally the wrong way. This happened after a good start last year too, where you could either big up where we were right now or accept the fact that we could be outside of the top four again within a few games if he doesn’t sort it out.

City are almost out of sight, and Liverpool and Arsenal have quietly crept up behind us after shocking starts.

Though we went on a terrific run at around this point a year ago, and it was a complete freak that it didn't get us into the top 4 with something to spare. This time round, similar form should.

Liverpool and Arsenal are both always just a few bad results off a crisis, too. I wouldn't worry about either too much.

The trend is in the right direction. We’ve just taken a backward step since pogba got injured. It’s not rocket science. The over reaction this past few weeks is something I’d expect off 12 year olds. A lot of people seem unable to look past the last couple of games. It’s either brilliant and we’ll will win everything or it’s the end of the world. Never any realism. Never any balance. Black and white extremes. Like a spoilt child wanting instant gratification and throwing tantrums when it doesn’t happen.

Doesn't matter.

Whatever happens we'll all just end up disappointed with Smalling, Young and Fellaini still turning out for United in 12 months time.

He's the manager so it's his job to sort it out

I would say it is more to do with Woodward and the gimps rather than the players, he can hardly sort out the owners,

Genuinely not arsed. Modern day football isn't it? No longevity anymore with managers or even players. He probably doesn't fancy the battle with Guardiola.
