i rather see fabio OR varela get a chance there, smalling looks so uncomfortable at RB, hes too stiff and has no ball control, he can't cross or pass nor is able to make any decent runs, compare him to evra today, thats what you call a full back

centre half, sub or sitting in the stands are the only places smalling should be on match day........

Smalling is a confidence player who is very out of form, very poor. He should never ever get in ahead of rafael again.

When he's on form, fully fit, and confident, I think he is ok. Actually shows some decent skill, pace, but he's too fragile to be a star CB. I suppose it's something he can mature out of but similar to Nani we're unlikely to get years of consistency out of him without severe nursing.

smalling is our best centre back. moyes is responsible for him looking shit. not that fergie didn't do it too. he is not a fullback.

It's not the position that makes you that poor at fundamentals mate. Never a United player as long as he's got a hole in his arse. Get rid, pronto.

Hes got two left feet and apparently finds it difficult to stay upright, when he got the ball he fell over, hes a CB, nothing more nothing less, full backs are basically converted wingers now days, you need the ball control and skill to play in that position and smalling has neither, he should never play RB again for the rest of his life after that shit, Moyes should of just played Valencia there

I didn't think he was sas shit as cleverly though, i still dont understand why he plays football
