Maybe Mkhitaryan wasn't mentally strong enough, but statistically our goal output would be better with him and Martial than it is with Alexis and whoever plays square peg in the right side hole.

If you are using stats it’s reasonable to point out Mourinho teams always score more goals in the 1st half of the season. Alexis was poor for us but it is ridiculous to blame him for the drop in goals scored. Unlike Martial Alexis does have fantastic numbers that show he does have the ability & consistency to score & create in this league. He scored a goal every 2nd game at Arsenal, that’s outstanding given he played wide more often than not, he has a goal every 3 games for Chile which is also excellent. Martial on the other hand 😳
Maybe it’s the Jose affect, but he is a far better player than we have seen so far & to write him off so quickly is mind boggling
