Fair play to the guy, he got completely £#%&!ed by the FA and wanted to "rescue" his reputation by keeping a sinking ship afloat.

Side note; i £#%&!ing hate the SJW brigade within the football journo world, they're absolute @#%&!s, they pick and chose who they want to attack or defend and unfortunately Big Sam wasn't a media fav.
