Absolutely in one there Irk - we were a one man team in those years - if Robbo was injured we lost - he carried United single handedly (and England) for years - the original legend!!!!!!

Favourite player.

This was amplified by the fact that at the time I was getting into United around 1979, my favourite TV show was Battlestar Galactica and I thought Robbo looked like Captain Apollo. I used to conflate the two.

I realise he didn't move to United until 81 so it was probably the Battlestar Galactica repeats that I was into.

Either that, or maybe they weren't shown on British TV until then.

Do you know when he changed his hairstyle Sudors? He probably still had a perm in '79 didn't he?
