I've been a full time step dad FYI.

Piece of piss and I did such a fabulous job that I'm still in touch with the lad, despite him living in France

In fact I saw him last week. By chance, we were both in Manchester. Bought him some new gear and shifted a few hundred Euros his way.

First time I'd seen him in two years. Hadn't replied to my emails....

...I've been had over, haven't I?

Decent enough piece but the milk thing was a bit ott

I knew loads of poor kids growing up had readybrek/cornflakes with water and holes in shoes etc

You were lucky to have redybrek with water. We had to make do wiv sawdust and horsepiss
