The piss is going to be steaming come the first game of the season. It's going to be a truly awful window.

Stranger things have happened.

Wouldn't be devastated if he joined to be honest. Free transfer, won't command too big a wages and adds depth to the midfield when fit. Would immediately be one of our most creative squad members, too.

That said, I don't really want him to sign as I think he is a @#%&!.

Good to see some sense in your final sentence.

Yep.
And yep.
And the season itself won't be much better.

I've never been as pessimistic in the close season as I am this year.*

*Except Moyes.

Just as well Fred wasn't around in the summer of 1995, really.

How often does that actually happen, especially for high profile players?

I'm calling bullshit.

Different times now with immigration dominating the political agenda.

Brazil needed a hero last night, no sign of the £#%&!er.

Doesn't augur well.

Maybe so just a few whispers about the fact United quietly announced a deal had been reached and a further announcement was to be made and its gone verrrrry quiet whilst they try and sort out a work permit.

I joked I hope he is Celio Silva'd but didn't expect it to happen.

Wouldn't be surprised if, in terms of transfer dealings, that's Dalot...
