Everything's gone to shit since Di Maria went off.
Di Maria is the one player who changes the pace of the game. Take him off and you see the old problems of slow passing and a lack of pace in the attacking play.

What happened at the back is a nightmare, I include Blind in that, utterly ineffective as a screen. Rojo was shocking as well.

Not really, the ref was responsible for all of their goals today. Even the first one, the ball was out of play before the cross was made.

One or two mistakes fine but when 4 goals are a direct result of a refereeing £#%&! up then it is very hard to get up again. Weve seen even more seasoned united sides get knocked out by 1 or 2 mistakes in games and then look unrecognisable.

Saw far more good than bad out there today. Glad evans is injured.

Scandalous decision but doesn't justify the total meltdown afterwards.

Angry as hell.

And we can now see how much Vidic is missed. Something else to thank Gollum for.

I thought our criminal defensive errors would be severely punished when we played a decent team.

Turns out even Leicester can do it

So many basic mistakes. Absolute amateurs at the back.

You can't blame the ref tbh. Shocking decision, but it only made it 3-2. We shipped 3 further, awful, goals

when did i say that???

the whole team was a shambles at times. but i'm not blaming DDG - because the whole team was off.

you're blaming DDG because you're trying to prove a point, on the back of us losing.

snide.

From 1-3 and cruising to this. ffs. Collapsing after one poor penalty decision really isn't good enough.
Entertaining though..

£#%&!ing pathetic tbh. Clattenburg took the piss but Rooney trying to be captain was £#%&!ing laughable. Mata felt for Blackett, thought he was the only defender we had. Clearly Rojo isn't a CB and actually is a LB, which of course begs the question, what do we do with the £30m LB doing nowt on the bench and 3 CB's we have that are made of glass? Tidy as Blind can be, there's little in the way of presence from him.

Have to say, the amount of times De Gea stands and watches as the ball goes past him or makes a token effort whilst getting nowhere near the ball when considered against the number of shots he actually faces seems very high...

De Gea isn't the issue, no keeper is going to stop the sort of onslaughts he's faced

The bigger issue is he's into the last year of his contract next season

This is true, total lack of mental fortitude after that moment. We can break down the individuals later but this team will go nowhere if it can not deal with misfortune in a more composed manner.
