Agreed.

That was £#%&!ing shocking, and cost us the goal. For all Spain's decent passing, they have done little.

I know its the stuff of top reds but £#%&! me. Get the game over with, get Beckham on for his xxxth cap keep Carrick fit, someone injure Torres etc etc. Its £#%&!ing dire, this England team/squad couldn't win 2 games on the trot never mind a tournament.

wonder why we've never been in for Villa (tabloid-wise anyway).

He's one of the closest players to our ideal striker, he's not far off from a fit Saha. Superb striker of the ball, better finisher, hangs on the shoulders of defenders really well.....not as good in the air but makes up for that in other ways.

One of our problems right now is all our strikers like to come to the ball rather than exploit space behind defenders.

they aren't technically outstanding ffs

they can control and pass a £#%&!ing football though

well except Torres who can control it 20 yards in front of himself and run after it very fast

Indeed. They're hardly on a level with some of the old Brazilian sides.

They are extremely good at ball retention.

Out of interest TT, everybody fit, what would be your England XI?

the whole team, defenders, keeper, strikers, are all technically outstanding.

technique doesnt mean doing fancy step overs and tricks you know.

Ginners you're a genius .

Spain are a very good team, but they havent been required to be anywhere near their best against this England team.

We made an approach for him last summer, but his agent said he wasnt interested in a move to England. Small-time git.

I still remember that goal he scored against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. What a flippin' goal.
