When he was chosen I thought this whole thing could be intentional- Moyes as sacrificial lamb.

But I'm not convinced anyone in charge was forward thinking enough for that strategy.

Started something similar in Feb.

But let's be honest, I was grasping at straws.

I'll give him a bit of credit for Januzaj and though he handled him well until around January where he decided not to bother playing him at all (even after resting him for weeks)

Ruined Zaha though.
Only after Zaha ruined his daughter tbf

There have been no positives to take from under the corpse.
This thread was tongue in cheek tbf

Obviously I'm glad Rooney stayed but I think he'd have stayed whoever came in.

I still can't believe we're below Tottenham, Everton, Liverpool in the table:shakehead:
No Champions League hasn't sunk in yet but it certainly will in September.
Hopefully by then we've signed some £#%&!ing good players & are dishing out hidings with glorious Football all over the shop.

The only positive I can see is that the public damage to club's reputation was so severe that it exposed how insular it had become behind the scenes in the setup over the last few years. Utterly naive in how to go on without Fergie on every level. I'd rather get all the collapsing and seething out of the way up front so we can get on with the inevitable rebuilding as soon as £#%&!ing possible. Moyes was the perfect choice in that sense. @#%&!.

Rooney has been shit all season and we're now stuck with him for another 5 years, that's bad.

Mata, good player that he is, wasn't necessary and was a waste of money.

We're not stuck, I'm sure a few clubs would want him if we wanted to sell.

The next man will be replacing Moyes, not Alex Ferguson. That's got to be a +

Only Chelsea last season, I don't reckon his performances this year will have persuaded other clubs looking to pay someone £200+k a week to come running, do you?

Ok you asked for it

15 goals and 10 assists in 28 games in what I would agree hasn't been his best season. Cant believe we are stuck with him, I could cry

20+ goals next season in the league, easily. Stuck with Rooney stuck with Rooney Man Utd

Nope. The best thing for Manchester United and Wayne Rooney is for him to move on.
