Think he would step up tbh and respond to the players around him. He's deceptively young too int he? Could be a Yorkesque signing.

Baines aside is Fellaini just pure speculation? I can see him being London bound.

Don't think we've really been linked with him have we? Not that it matters if we had

I think a lot of Fredsters are delicate at the minute, preparing for the worst it seems. MJ has made up his mind already

I thought that before Moyes was announced.

Fellaini would improve our midfield, would not take us to the next level however, need to also bring in a more creative midfielder, that thiago guy looks the dogs doodahs

Don't bother answering btw. £#%&! off.

The statistics indicate Fellaini's passing is nowhere near good enough for a top side, btw.

I don't think Everton have any players currently on their books that would improve our Title winning squad & make us a serious threat for the European Cup.
Sorry if that's too doomy for you

Ref's let the opposition have a go at United. That's the reason why Fellaini's always a problem - much like Carrol at Upton Park last season.
He isn't a great player by anybody's standards, let alone Uniteds.

The more we fill our squad with mediocrity to further back we'll fall in Europe.
If we don't bring in a top drawer midfielder I'd rather give Anderson, Cleverly & Powell a good run at it.

Sorry, I meant "says who" as in who apart from your good self has said we're trying to sign them. I completely agree neither would improve us but I wondered where the assertion came from is all

In that case I apologise for the rant!

I didn't intend this as a Thread tbf, the subject got moved from the David Moyes thread I think.
I only assume it's Everton players because he seems adamant that he's "chasing" players but he's only been in the Job 5 minutes & will most likely (sadly) go after what he knows.

Just about everyone who speculated about who Moyes may sign included those two in the list. It's only speculation but that's allowed. Grist to the mill imo.

Why though? What's it based on? He didn't sign the entire Preston North End squad when he signed for Everton.

It's just an educated guess.

lads, you don't even need a replacement for Evra.

Kevin Mirallas just had a webchat were he answered questions which got asked and he said this.

Ok, two final questions! My best moment was completing my move to Everton. The hardest player I've faced? Patrice Evra.

This, he scored v us 1st game last season v Carrick at centre half! If them pair are main targets then that is poor.
