England supporters and journos are worse than some utd fans for writing a player off totally after one or two poor games, especially in these waste of space kickabouts.

To be honest Wes Brown isn't international class. However we don't have much better for the right back slot.

Johnson: Great going forward, defends like a donkey
Neville: Not what he used to be however I'd say still the best we've got.
Richards: See Johnson but not as effective going forward

I don't understand what you mean by that? He's good enough to be first choice RB in a CL winning team 2 years ago but not to play in shit International football.

:shakehead:

was the best rb in england two years ago, maybe in europe. has just come back from an injury and has played, what, two games since? both at centre back ffs. and is then asked to play rb against one of the best left-sided players in the world (nilmar) with probably the worst england m/f and back five in living memory alongside him.

'international class' is another buzzphrase created by Journalists & Youtube Scouts.

Wes Brown plays for Manchester United for £#%&!s sake...of course he's good enough to play for England.

Look at the right back Brazil had on the bench, never mind starting. You will see what I mean.

I meant pretty much every top team at the world cup next year will have a better full back than Wes Brown, some even two.

Not saying he isn't good but he it not in the top bracket of right backs, sorry but he is nowhere near.

Correct, he looks spookily like an orange haired full back who set up a goal in a CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL FFS - which just about qualifies him for "international class".

But he's had one bad game so he's shit actually.
