Owen is winning me over

Scholes and Carrick will never start an away to a top 4 side again

I didnt drink this weekend so I dont quite feel the need to hang myself today despite the result

FSW keeps his job

We'll spank them at OT

Default Re: Positives: Add your own.

Owen's movement is superb. Never had a chance, but there were three little promising moments:

- Ball over the top on the right hand side of the area. Couldn't quite bring it down, but just good to see someone race over the top

- Beautiful run on the blindside of Carragher. Would've been in had the clumsy oaf not cynically taken him down

- Nice touch, body strength and pass off to Valencia, who then hit the bar

Get him in on Tuesday and Saturday. The more he plays, the better he'll get and I expect the team to be shaken up for Blackburn.

valencia's performance was the only positive as far as i am concerned.

All very true. just £#%&!s me off that he is our only option. Someone with a bit of strength and pace would be a nice option to have alongside the existing 3.

I wonder, if we had signed Benzema, who would've dropped out. I'm starting to think it wouldn't necessarily have been Berbatov

Oh, positives. We won't play that badly again. Well, until Anfield next season

You would think. Although, to my knoweldge, Anderson is still sat on the bench at Anfield, despite the deficiencies our midfield showed

Wonderful goal from Saha yesterday. More goals than any of our strikers this season and about as fit and reliable as our current back-up striker.

Oh, I've thought of a positive.

I won a 1957 cup final shirt signed by Albert Scanlon. I know he didn't play in the final, but it's still pretty cool
