Given our right back situation, I don't think the lad can play enough games TBH. He's a special talent, you actually enjoy watching him and all the other right backs are questionable in terms of ability and/or fitness.
Agreed. Lets hope Fabio does similarly well. Early signs have been promising.

I'm blaming the...um....hall of records. Is that them? Or maybe UEFA?

Said at the tail end of last season, if Wes isnt getting the slot back then stick Rafael in and watch him grow. Im absolutely confident him, his brother and Evans would all be top players in there positions in the league within a season or 2.

More of the same really, isn't he?

I can't see those two being anything other than absolute gems. So get 'em in there and let them flourish. They'll £#%&! up, sure but it'll be worth it. They're great entertainment too. Genuinely excited whenever either of them play. Just downright hilarious when both of them do.

Sorry i meant we broke the record for a total number of matches or home games.

Actually i think it was home games, broke juventus record anyway.

Records mean £#%&! all anyway. Not as if you get a trophy for it.

Unless you're the 2004 draw specialist Invincibles.

During which season, in fact, we lost fewer games than their "Invincibles" did

Apparently.

Strange that these invincibles weren't quite so invincible the following season when Chelsea won the league with more wins and more points.
A great advert for not losing games instead of winning them. Wenger and his attacking football, eh?

I remember one of my housemates at uni trying to tell me he'd rather stay unbeaten in the league all season, than win the treble as we did.

Typical Arsenal fan. £#%&!ing muppet.

Jesus, most on here have bitched and moaned about how we don't have any genuine wingers in the side. We sign one in the summer and suddenly he's too predictable. Frankly, aren't all wingers who hug the touchline somewhat predictable? They're either gonna go forwards or back and will eventually get to the point of a cross.

It's early days too. He's doing what he knows for now. Wingers don't necessarily need tricks either. Balance, pace, confidence and technique are the key elements and he has all of those. Giggs never relied on tricks. He mainly 'skied' past defenders by being direct and showing wonderful balance. He's still fitting in and has scored our last two goals and came the closest on Sunday too. He was a threat to Insua, beat him a few times, got to the byline and got ZERO support from O'Shea and no-one showing for him on the inside. Considering it was an area we were clearly looking to exploit, I felt sorry for the lack of support for the lad.

£#%&! me, victimsing the new lads when the experienced ones were the real letdown yesterday.
"victimising" ffs. I'm sorry, but if you want to play for Manchester United then I'm going to judge you harshly. And if you're going to play as shit as all of our players did on sunday, then expect to be criticised. I'm just saying exactly what i see. Valencia hasn't impressed me. Believe it or not it actually takes a bit to impress me when you're playing in one of europes top 5 teams.

If all we want from our wide players is running and crossing then why didn't we keep Richardson? At least he can take a free kick ffs.

id rather we play Owen and Rooney up top from now on.

and hopefully this loss will finally show SAF that scholes and carrick against a COMBATATIVE midfield will never work, ever.

apart from that lets just call it a bad day @ the office.
