Some of the passing from both sides has been absolute shite.

We keeping over complicating things as we get closer to their goal. A tendency, like the first team, to opt for the difficult pass when keepeing things simple would be the better decision.

Also - like the first team - we appear to have that weird urge to play one more pass when a shot's on. £#%&! knows where this comes from. I've never known a top team so scared - or incapable - of shooting from distance. Arsenal aren't even as bad as us for it nowadays.

You can chuck in the tendency to hang back when anyone should get in behind a defence too. Miss the way Ronaldo used to attack the penalty area. Arriving late in the box, determination to score.

that's the key for me. we actually get quite a few bodies in the box when we attack down the wings but we rarely get midfielders running past the strikers. such a potent weapon if it's done right and we've got such a great tradition of it at the club. maybe if fergie actually manages to have both anderson and fletcher available at the same time we might see it

Nice to see the Vermin have the same cynical tactics as their first team. A little trip here, a little trip there. Quite brilliant how they manage to keep on getting away with it. A licence to offend.

Only watched the last 20 minutes. Very impressed with Tosic.

We should have won that in the second half, we had them penned in for most of it.
