This bit from the BBC

Quote:
"What is going on is whether he goes on a permanent move, which would involve a very high fee. Certainly, Tevez's people would want in the region of what Zinedine Zidane went for when he moved to Real Madrid - about £40m.
would seem to suggest that he is still tied to some third party who have a say in his transfer.

Surely that means that West Ham lied

it would be the same kind of deal as mash (who apparently is only at liverpool for another 18 months)

convoluted

That one makes about as much sense too. Who actually owns these players? Isn't there a story that Maschmay not be with the dippers next season. Honestly, what is going on?

They are nothing. you just want to moan.

after you do that, piss off.
Less an endorsement of the youth system as integral to United's future, more a profitrable sideline

I wouldn't be suprised if the lot were shipped out to help underwrite the spree and if not then I doubt if they will rack up 40 starts between them [barring injuries]

He is worth about 15-20 at most in todays market, and even that would constitute a huge gamble.

If we can get him for a year on loan to look at it would be a good idea, similar to whatever deal the Liverpool have with Maschereno.

With the money being talked about you should be buying one of the top 5 players in the world, he is nowhere near that level. Could not get into the West Ham side consistently in the early part of last season, kept out of the team by greats like Zamora, Harewood, 40yo Teddy.

Rossi gets stick for not getting into the Newcastle side, but when he got a run at Parma who were in a similar position to West ham he made just as much of an impact as Tevez. I know Tevez has pedigree behind him, but the hype over him is ridiculous.

Default Am I the only one underwhelmed by Tevez transfer talk?

No, we already have enough players who can play the "off" striker role.(Rooney, Giggs, Anderson, Ronaldo, Nani, Scholes) What we need is a genuine alternative to Saha, a main striker.

Tevez is not really that player.

Makes sense to sign him on loan I suppose. I'd feel nervous if we signed him fo' real, there's no smoke without fire.

Pointless signing anyway. I'd rather take a chance on somebody less well known and more suited to the role we require.

Angry Perhaps if we'd bothered to put a decent team out

against them on the final day, and relegated them as we should've done, then he'd be considerably cheaper, as I'd imagine he'd have all kinds of clauses that would kick into effect.
