Default Tevez watch - Argentina v Paraguay

Tevez warms up looking rather swarthy and athletic.

He's wearing a rather fetching blue and white striped shirt with blue shorts and white stockings.

He's adjusted his black hair band for optimum follicular performance.

00:17 Tevez rushes in on goal but is just beaten to the ball by the keeper

He seems to be playing on the shoulder of the last man which will be interesting to see.

For hackneyed footy quote use? Guilty.

07:52 Tevez shot from 25 yds, on target but lacking power

13:15 Corner that finds Tevez lurking on the edge of the box. Powerful shot charged down.

A-ha...degree level humour eh?

You'll be pleased to hear Tevez has dropped in to a more withdrawn role to try and find the ball.

Reminds me a little of what Cantona used to do but may cause problems if both him and Rooney drop off looking for possession.

Brings me back to the poacher argument I made on another thread.

Tevez takes a corner which is delivered deep in to the box. Not as whipped as an andy hinchcliffe corner but didn't knock the head off the 1st defender like giggs would have.

Brilliant nutmeg in the box by Tevez nearly puts a team mate through.

24:57

Tevez takes a short corner from the right this time.

He seems to be running the show set-piece wise which will add a bit of variety for us.

Another powerful low shot form outside the box, deflected just wide. His shooting has been impressive and if we end up with just Tevez and Rooney up front it might need to be.

Quite impressive considering how well paraguay have played.

Tevez will shoot from anywhere and is obviously their set-piece man. He dropped off as the half wore on to get in to the action and showed quick feet and a few nice touches. His strength isn't in doubt and he didn't give the ball away once which will be gold in europe.

Another good shot from outside the box just grazes the post. He'll get a lot of goals from 20 yds+.
