I usually stay in the Renaissance in Deansgate or the Hilton.

The Renaissance have bumped their price up-to £399 for the night.

Cheeky £#%&!ers.

koppas, ever a man of the people, suggesting a £400 a night gaff. classic

travelodge at OT cricket ground is (probably) cheap and cheerful and obviously a good location.

I wasn't suggesting it. Well I kind of was. It's usually reasonable (£100 on Thursday night) but just demonstrating how some hotels are taking the piss because they know Messi and koppas are in town.

Hard to keep your feet on the ground when you have a ski lodge right there in the back garden.

Agreed on the Criggit hotel. Order fast food via leaflet. #cans. Free brekkie sat with a load of good natured Norweigans.

Motel one. Excellent 'budget boutique' place. Usually around £99 a night. Good quality small rooms
