Stick Vardy down the middle so he can pin the centre backs. Yes he's a shitty Michael Owen but you may as well get him playing to his strengths. Kane is more than capable of dropping off and linking the play. Far more rounded and talented.

Football is a team game. The best teams win tournaments.
Picking the best players and forcing square pegs in round holes has never worked.

Smalling has a load of flaws but he's well capable of being one of a hugely effective two at the back.
