Tufty's latest bright idea

The 25th November marks the 10 year anniversary of the passing of George Best, one of Manchester United's greatest ever players. George was a shining example of the trust in youth that Sir Matt Busby has instilled on the club and his genius lit up football stadia whenever he played.

On the 25th November, Manchester United are at home to PSV in the Champions league. SEF, along with supporters will be paying tribute to George. Just as George lit up Old Trafford through his dazzling football, we are calling on all supporters to light up Old Trafford. As the clock ticks onto the 7th Minute, we are asking supporters to turn on their mobile phone torches and light up Old Trafford.

SEF will also produce a commemorative banner for George that will be in place in the quadrant above J-stand. design ideas for this banner are sought, however in keeping with the fans display of Light, the banner will incorporate the wording "There is a light that will never go out". if you would like to submit a design idea, then please email them to [email protected] ideally with a mock up of the design.

Wouldn't it be a better idea for everyone to sign a pledge stating that they will look after their bodies. I reckon the whole stadium could do it with just one clip board in just under 2 hours. Maybe it would be a world record?
