Nearly made on cry last night by telling them that City winning the League Cup or FA Cup in the 90’s/early 00’s would have been infinitely worse for me than them winning the league or champions league after becoming a franchise. What’s happening now would happen to any team you dropped that dough on whereas proper Maine Road Manchester City winning a trophy to take that ticker down would have been beyond awful.

Sparky is 38 this July. So i'm more than capable of remembering going into school when Arsenal were under george graham and Liverpool were winning everything and then in 1992 getting absolute dogs abuse off everyone when we £#%&!ed the title. Then again in 1995 i got it off West Ham fans and the Liverpool fans. The Liverpool fans outnumbered the Chelsea and QPR fans at my school btw. £#%&!ing loads of them.

Then i went to work for the Beeb which is also, surprise surprise, infested with Arsenal and Liverpool fans.
