Good to hear.

Looks a bit narrow, not sure about Ando playing and not convinced Januzaj wants to be so high up the pitch.

it's not narrow - wellers and janners are wide and free. throbbers would call them split strikers. they wouldn't be playing differently to how they've been playing. I expect kagawa to get into the area, though, and fot them to link with him and each other.

as for ando..... I think he has a lot to offer. I'm tempted to put another kitkat chunky pic up.

evra anderson kags on the left = swansea win

like the formation/tactic though = no tedious aimless crosses as plan A

Anything to avoid our usual plan of 'get it to big tone to smash it against the left back '

Won't happen though

he's desperate for a win, he's hardly going to change the style of play for the that. He'll be using the basis of his last win as a starting point and it could be one of the most painful 90 minutes of football you might ever see.

Shitting it against Swansea at home :shakehead:

I'd put jan on the right, lose Valencia , welbeck on the left and pea up front .

In management, you are going to lose games. I don’t know any manager who hasn’t lost games and you have to go through it at some point of your career.
“Obviously, if you are not winning it can affect confidence and that is a big part of football. But prior to this [run], we won six [successive] games and we were not talking about confidence after that.
“The players have been very good, in the main. We just need things to go for us, we need to play better and take our chances. I think the performances have been fine. There have been things that have gone against us, decisions which haven’t helped, but I think we have played pretty well.
“All the stats are good, but the only one that matters is goals and we have not scored enough recently.”

be interesting to see how cautious laudrup starts this time

i imagine he'll be even more negative than last week unless we get a man sent off again

tbf bringing Canas on worked well for him last week

So even at the best of times moyes expects atrocious football based around set pieces. Great to read.
