How many does £#%&!ing Sturridge need then? International level striker my arse. He missed a shitload in that warm up game against Honduras as well.
Yep. He's not all that. Waiting for him to get the Welbeck treatment.

I do mate. Welbeck has done okay for England when played up top.

Rooney was battered in the first game for missing that chance.

Where's that coverage for Sturridge?

Hoddle has way too much to say IMO

Don't understand the reverence he's given either, he hardly won anything in his managerial career

Sturridge has been poor this tourno but let's not get ahead of ourselves here.

Welbz is nowhere near Sturridge right now.

Not in terms of goalscoring, but when Sturridge isn't scoring goals - what does he do?

At least welbeck has more of a team ethic, which is invaluable at International level. A striker who does a couple of flicks, gives the ball away and habitually misses sitters is no good to you.

The whole of Europe will be shitting themselves for 2016.

That Barkley lad will do well once he realises there are 21 other people on the pitch.

i was thinking that yesterday...
Townsend said 'Sturridge looks like he only needs half a chance today and he will score'......less than a minute after he had a half chance and missed!!

That makes the rest of your post superfluous, tbh.
