We are building towards a modern style of play more suited to the specialist technical players that now exist (especially outside of the UK). If that is instilled in the club from youth up we will likely never see another season like last season and a new manager having to cull a shit load of shit @#%&!s. As mentioned, they need to have played twice as much first team football as they have to be realistically pushing to stake a claim. The first 30mins of the game on Saturday with any team capable of slotting in a piss easy chance on the stroll from 10 yards would have resulted in a completely different outcome.
We're due the luck, but you should realistically make your own first rather than relying on it. |
