Football Why/how is Fellaini keeping Herrera out?

Ok, Fellaini has had a couple of good games (he has, so £#%&! off) and at first, I thought Herreras rib was the reason he was being kept on the bench. Obviously not though.

Herrera, imo, has done £#%&! all wrong and is massively more suited to the team than Fellaini. He's obviously got much more ability than Fellaini too. So why's Fellaini getting in and Ander isn't getting a sniff?

It's nearly as baffling as RvP getting a start every game.

Why obviously not?

Fletcher coming on to kill the game surely means that he will not be risked unless absolutely unavoidable?

Ribs are a @#%&!.

Surprised no Journos have nailed him about it tbh.

Lvg said about a month ago that Herrera isn't handling the physical side of the English game. While he would prefer to play more technically gifted players (AH), he has learnt that the domestic game needs a physical approach.

That's the only thing I've heard anyway.

It was Felli's birthday today, tbf.

That's the only sensible explanation I can find. Birthday treat.

He did the correct thing with Shaw and I'm just hoping it's more of the same.

+ safe bet.

If results and performances are inconsistent and all of a sudden you start getting solid low scoring games, you're inclined to stick with what has made that happen?

His first touch is worse than sutcliffe. Good in the battles against West Ham etc but Arsenal?

I hope shop window. fellaini was awful - gave the ball away more than rooney. immobile. shit. our tactics didn't help, with both carrick and fellaini shielding the back three whenwe had the ball, but we so needed a mata/herrera instead of van persie and £#%&!ing anyone (even fletch) ahead of fellaini.

That's the switch for me, if you're determined to clog the midfield with the big lummox then put Herrera or Mata in for van Persie who has been absolute gash this season, it was like he wasn't even on the pitch most of Today,

LVG doesn`t fancy Herrera. Straight swap on the cards in January for Bayern Munich’s Xherdan Shaqiri

Apparently very.

Broken ribs are fine until someone elbows you in the ribs and the rib punctures your lung then it's not so good. Just not worth the risk.
