We’re actually overcomplicating this. It’s clearly just a difference of interpretation of the term midfield. Personally, I’d take the clue from the word itself and consider a midfielder to be someone who plays in the middle of the field. I apologise wholeheartedly.

no, you're just being an arrogant argumentative @#%&!. look at any description of what position he plays and you will find he is known as a midfielder. Not complicated unless you are looking to get a rise really is it
