A central midfield of Giggs and O'Shea for most of one season as well as a squad which included such luminaries as Djemba, Kleberson and Bellion might be more to blame for those barren years than Ruud constantly banging the ball in the net.

Loved Ruud. Best striker I've had the pleasure to see.
