The annoying thing is that the haven't got anywhere near the hysteria in the press they deserve this season, they've been £#%&!ing dreadful. So have Manchester City.

Everybody elses shortcomings is being buried under the avalanche of headlines all about United.

Can't really blame him for that miss - keeper was right on top of him and saved it well. He really had nowhere to shoot it.

Agreed he's a whopper tho.

Also compared him unfavourably to Ian Dowie and Phil Brown and called him a 'gibbering £#%&!wipe'.

So £#%&! you, man.

yeah, was a harder chance than it looked, a lot of pace on the cross too.

think someone on here said it - the funniest thing about him is how he constantly tries to look cool and play the game at his own pace but isn't good enough to actually do it.

aye, think they're making a meal of the miss near the end - should've made contact with the ball but certainly not easy

the Balotelli pelanty claim looked 50-50 and they'd've got that last season nqat

Regardless he should have scored and it was a great chance/timing for him to restore his quickly appointed hero status.

of course, simple really..

So if Utd win today we get 3 pts, if we lose, nowt, and a draw is one point...from what I can make out, same goes for Chelsea..

they've had some nice fixtures in the last few games too. only we've had a favourable early bunch of fixtures though apparently.

they're playing really badly. its funny. They played well at spurs. Other than that, they have been really shit in every single other game this season.

no spark up front and questionable at the back. at least we're good coming forward.

I'd fancy most decent premier league teams to take something off them at the moment.

Banner for Mario:

- How about getting a picture of Forest Gump and put balotellis head on it with the caption, "Run Mario Run"

- I find that style of humour not funny. Not in the slightest.

- Goodbye

Stan Collymore column: Liverpool's Mario Balotelli is being bullied and it has to stop

Quote:
If you are not onside with the main group, you can become a target.

In his autobiography, Carragher picked out a couple of stories from my time at Liverpool, one of which was when I had a fight with Tony Warner.

Yes, that story was true, but I didn’t read in Carragher’s book anything about Neil Ruddock – the worst professional footballer I have known in terms of looking after himself.

Quote:
And I didn’t see him write about John Barnes walking off the training ground because he wasn’t happy with training – not once, but twice. I saw that with my own eyes.

The thing is, Ruddock and Barnes were both part of the main group. They hung out with the other players and were part of the dressing room.

Personally I used to go in, train, then go back to my friends in Cannock.

The treatment towards Balotelli is verging on bullying and it is
probably because certain people know they can get away with it.
