Shreeves is a silly @#%&!.

His questions are £#%&!ing crap too.

Shreeves: "So how important was your goal?"
Player: "Yeah goals are always important, nice to get one, but most important thing is we won"

Shreeves: "Is this a must win game?"
Manager: "It's an important game, we'll be looking to win but I never like to say must win."

Shreeves: "How did you feel when you scored?"
Player: "Yeah great, it's always nice to score a goal so I just had a go and I was pleased with it, but most importantly for the team we got the three points"


Perhaps it's his shitty questions that are making players respond in such boring fashion.

How is it that the two major football broadcasters in Britain have Geoff Shreeves and Garth Crooks as their respective post-match interviewers?

It's media types like Shreeves that make you realise Alan Partridge is not overstated. On the contrary.

Brilliant. I'd have loved to have seen Shreeves' face during that.

I'm guessing if Sky want to hear Fergie's thoughts from now on they'll have to employ someone other than that smug #@&%!.

It wasn't an interview it was a very thinly disguised accusation of cheating.

It's funny the way he talks about himself in the third person. "Against Cristiano it's always polemic."

He totally misunderstood the question in the middle.

I am £#%&!ing sick of these sports 'journalists' making a nice living for doing absolutely £#%&! all. 'How did you feel when you scored?'. Jesus. Well the years spent studying journalism were well worth it for that, weren't they?

I don't actually think there was any malice in it, it was just a dopey overly flowerly line of questioning, Cristiano did well by effectivley answering a different question to the one that was asked each time in a two ronnies stylee.
