Alexis is going to be amazing next season

Lots of top lads on here still giving Alexis the benefit, but I just don't see it sadly.
I mean, is it really too much to £#%&!ing ask that he plays a decent pass or sticks one in the £#%&!ing top corner??
How much more 'settling in' time do 'world class' players need these days?

Ok who? We've Martial , Rashers , Lingard and Mata. All limited one way or the other. Not that I disagree but we've got no one.

It’s the right side that no @#%&! wants to play

He might have been inconsistent but Martial was a lot better and more productive before Sanchez signed on that left side than Sanchez has been since
That’s ignoring the fact that Martial can only improve while Sanchez is past his peak and only going to get worse

My point is they are all not up for it. I don't think anyone we have is good enough - drop him - replace him - who ever we chuck out there isn't near the quality we need. Martial isn't good enough. Rashford is not good enough etc.

He hasn’t been great but he is a quality player. You don’t just become crap overnight. Was far & away our best player pre-season . Not sure if he tried too hard last week but it was painful to watch. Always gave the ball away a lot even at Arsenal but also created & scored enough to airbrush that. That hasn’t happened here yet.

Last season Mkhitaryan had more assists for Arsenal and Manchester United than Alexis Sanchez, he hasn't suddenly become crap, it's happened over a season. His 24 league goals in 2016-17 was a career peak by some margin and looks more like an outlier (even more so in assist terms) than his current ceiling. We lost 3 games out of 24 before we signed him and lost 4 in 14 after, we scored a goal every 44 minutes without him and a goal every 66 minutes with him, and we wonder why Martial has seen his arse.

Maybe Mkhitaryan wasn't mentally strong enough, but statistically our goal output would be better with him and Martial than it is with Alexis and whoever plays square peg in the right side hole.
