Everyone knows the league table doesn't start to take shape until at least the end of August

Shouldnt show a league table until after christmas. Makes it more exciting. Obviously there would be sados who would be sad enough to figure out themselfs.

all of the above plus to show that the current united squad is past it and lacks ambition after league and european success.

Slightly more worth than showing the table before the first game.

Oooh, Arsenal top. Good start for Villa. City above United. West Ham down there again. Interesting stuff etc....

Teams don't know where they are in the league, so Instead of being shit scared your in the relegation zone, teams would go out to win instead of tying not to lose. Better games, Better league.

My Uncle Frank said last week that he doesn't look at the league table until his daffodils come out and "I haven't even planted the £#%&!ing bulbs yet".

My you, on reflection, he is a bit of a @#%&!.

all other fixtures after this are now going to be friendlies or warm up games to the fa cup and champs league

Why not? Which amount of games do you think is correct to start showing the table? 6? And if so, why 6 and not 5? And so on. And if 5, then why not 4, and so on.

It's not really the sort of thing you should be getting worked up on, is it?

The tables should be shown from the point where no more than two teams are seperated by alphabetical order.

HTH.

I don't mind that they show them - keep the record straight and all that - but it's way people actually take them seriously. They were going on about Arsenal going top last week after they played the first game. Yeah, well they would be wouldn't they?

because it's %@#$&!s

traditionally, the tables used to be presentable after 3 games.

how many games are used in your average form guide? cus it isn't two, is it.

then again, when United lose a match you get idiots on here saying they are off form
